Editorial Guidelines
In order to have your news release approved by one of the PRblaze editors, it must meet a few requirements.
While we do not require news articles and press releases to be formatted in the traditional old school format, we still require the basics.
- Headline - Under 80 characters (Do not use all upper case). Mixed case only
- Summary - One small sentence
- Body - Must contain information on the city and state the news is from
- Contact Information – Must include some sort of contact information
- Third Person – If your news release is written in the first person it will be rejected
- Correct Grammar – Incorrect grammar will be cause for your release to be rejected – English only
- Newsworthy - PRblaze is not a place to advertise your goods or services. Your release must be newsworthy or it will be rejected
- Original “G” Rated – Your release must be original and not have information on adult or illegal activities
